Artist's Comments
This little image is from a photo shoot I did earlier this week. It's not a real geisha, the school hired a model to pose as one. The kimono and hair ornaments however are all authentic. A woman who works in Kyoto professionally dressing geisha came to do the models outfit, hair and makeup.
This really isn't like most of the work I'm producing here. This is a very generic geisha picture that I'm sure my classmates took as well. But its so pretty I thought I'd post it. Maybe when I get back I'll post some of my more serious work. |
